![]() 500 lift, headers and true duals? There's no sense having to buy a new carb, fuel system, ignition system, and an alternative converter clutch lock-up for a 305 build. Is it likely to play nice with those heads, a cam of something around a 112 LSA 218 cam with around. ![]() I don't want to buy the wrong thing here.Īlso I'd prefer to keep the Q-jet and CCC system. But it seems odd to list it as "max valve lift" when that is a function of cam lift AND rocker ratio. My thinking is this spec is the maximum spec of the what the cam lift can be based on a 1.5 ratio rocker, but it doesn't say. What's got me is that it lists the maximum valve lift at only. Anyhow, the heads I've been mulling over are something like this: The necessary spreadbore version runs $315 and the factory L69 aluminum piece is probably not any worse than a conventional Performer/RPM. Was thinking about putting in back in with a set of aluminum heads, a mild roller cam, and possibly an Edelbrock Performer Airgap intake. Resealing and cleansing the grease ball basically. ![]() It was leaking oil and fuel pretty profusely everywhere. ![]()
